Sick, sick, sick.

Last night I was so so so sick. I have been sick basically every day. Last night was possibly the worst it has been. I have been trying the eat really small meals every two hours... simple foods... blah, blah, blah. Nothing was helping me. And all they say you can take is vitamin B6. I don't have any... I didn't wanna get outta bed to go to the store. So I laid in misery, read Catching Fire, and thanked Bryce as he cleaned our carpets. What a great feeling waking up this morning and smelling clean carpets. The best. Ever. Before I got sick though I was able to run 3 miles. I also ate pretty good yesterday!

Breakfast:
Chex Cereal
Almonds
Banana

Lunch:
6 inch Oven Roasted Subway on Wheat with all the veggies (except green pepers....since I have been pregnant I hate them).
Green Apple
Vitamin Water Zero

Snack:
Wheat Crackers
Grapes

Dinner:
Tomato Soup
Wheat Toast
Egg

So the healthy thing was great... But the way I felt was not great. Hey at least I was able to almost read a whole book in one day!

About Us

So here is the low down on Us. I am a Master's Student at Utah State University. I am studying Fitness Promotion. I graduated with my undergrad in Exercise Science. I was on the Track team as a 400 meter runner, work as a personal trainer, teaching spin classes, boot camp classes and working with clients one on one. And apparently am pregnant.

Bryce is in his senior year of his Bachelor's program. He graduates in Exercise Science in May, we couldn't be more excited to be done with school. Bryce is also on the track team i.e. how we met. But he is not a runner; he is a shot put, discus and hammer thrower. Big fellas gotta eat a lot, and we know all about that.
Bryce and I met Fall of 2011. I was dating someone else, he was patient. We hung out as "Just Friends" for 5 months until he convinced me to date him instead. We dated and again he convinced me to marry him December 15th, 2012. Not to brag but my wedding was pretty sweet. I loved it and wouldn't trade it for anything.

We both come from amazing families and are very close. My sisters are my best friends and I plan to keep it that way for eternity.

Maximus is are first baby. We adopted him in May for my graduation present. He has been a wonderful addition to the family. He is always happy, he never judges and constantly gives kisses.

Are goal in life is to be fit and healthy. This is a crucial time for me especially to be healthy with this alien growing inside of me. So this blog is going to be a way to track and share our healthy living adventure through pregnancy.

Our favorite healthy foods right now:
Aubrie: P.F. Chang's Modified Lettuce Wraps
Bryce: ????
Maximus: Bananas or apples

Oops...

Oops is right. My husband, Bryce, and I have been married a year... yesterday. Having children may have been in his 5 year plan, but it was not in mine. I would always play along with it saying, "yeah, I when we graduate, find jobs, have a house, a new car, and feel settled we can start having kids." Did I mean that, no.
They cry, stink, poop, are expensive, time consuming, and I was not interested. And quite frankly I didn't think it would be very easy for me to become pregnant. I was very irregular, and had struggled with eating disorders in the past. It was both the last thing on our minds, we were doing everything we should to not get pregnant.... but all those people who say they didn't know, how do you not know??? For real? Your body is not the same anymore. I am only 7 weeks, my boobs have grown (when you are an A it is very apparent. TMI???), I cry constantly, I am nauseous and just drink diet sprite. I haven't had soda since the 8th grade and I am in graduate school. I knew I was pregnant before I took that test. So all those girls must be in denial... because at least my body is not my body anymore.

The last week has been emotional one, but we have started making new plans. And it is crazy to admit it, but I am excited. I wander the stores baby clothes section forever. Bryce gets bored, and makes me leave. But I really am excited well kinda... last night when we hung out with my cousins and their 2 year old and 5 week old and they talk about sleeping schedules I was not excited. So I like the idea of dressing one up in cute clothes, if you talk to my sister she will admit to how big of a step that is. :)
So oh rahhh to a new blog that no one is going to read. But I hope to capture the true feelings of our new adventure.

Friday, I had my first little appointment with the nurse, they drew my blood, gave me samples and 6 pamphlets. So I mean maybe I really am not prego, the four sticks lied to me.
I won't meet with my doctor until January 2nd... So we have a while before our first ultrasound. Like I mentioned earlier, I am not very far along at all.

Oh yeah... BTW. We have not announced this to anyone. So keep it on the down low... hahaha
